The latest milestone for the Johnson County minimum wage campaign is around the corner: the Johnson County Minimum Wage Advisory Commission will be releasing its report of the impact of the minimum wage increase in Johnson County at the meeting of the Johnson County Board of Supervisors.
Come learn about the impacts of the minimum wage increase on Johnson County and support next steps in the fight for living wages for all peoples! There will also be time for public comment to share how the minimum wage increase has affected individuals’ lives and experiences in Johnson County. The state may have barred us from enforcing the minimum wage but over 155 business in Johnson County have pledged to honor the will of the people.
