Neera Tanden To Speak At Progress Iowa Corn Feed

Center for American Progress Action Fund President Neera Tanden to join Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley, Congressman Dave Loebsack, and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg as a Featured Speaker at 3rd annual Progress Iowa Corn Feed on Sept. 10

Des Moines, Iowa – Progress Iowa announced today that Center for American Progress Action Fund President Neera Tanden will join Senator Jeff Merkley (D-Oregon), Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D-South Bend, Indiana), and Iowa’s own Congressman Dave Loebsack as a featured speaker at the 3rd annual Progress Iowa Corn Feed on Sunday, September 10th.

In addition to the featured addresses from Tanden, Merkley, Loebsack, and Buttiegieg, every announced Democratic candidate for Governor will be speaking. The complete agenda of speakers will be released in the coming days. The Progress Iowa Corn Feed will also feature local progressive organizations, businesses, and artists for a fun-filled afternoon! Last year’s event drew hundreds of attendees and featured organizations and progressive leaders from across the state.
