The Midwest School for Women Workers brings working women together to develop leadership skills, understand the challenges and issues facing the labor movement, and learn from one another. Participants attend core skill-building classes, workshops and plenary sessions on current economic and policy issues affecting unions and workers in the US and globally.

The Midwest School for Women Workers is sponsored by the United Association for Labor Education in partnership with Midwest unions and labor education programs. Instructors and speakers include university-based labor educators, experienced union staff, leaders, and attorneys, and nationally recognized leaders of labor and worker rights organizations. This year’s school is hosted by the University of Wisconsin School for Workers.
