Iowa Workers Who Lost Their Lives on the Job to Be Honored
Iowa Working families call for further safety measures at all workplaces
On April 28, 2016, local workers, labor and faith leaders will gather to honor workers who have suffered illness or injuries or died on the job. See list below.
Injured workers and the relatives of workers who lost their lives on the job will share their stories and renew the fight for stronger protections for workers across the country. Attendees will highlight the victories won by working people to strengthen workplace safety protections. Participants will also call on lawmakers and big business groups to support policies that keep working people safe.

Fort Madison/Keokuk: We hung wreathes that said Hero at both Keokuk and Fort Madison Halls then we surrounded them with names of everyone who died to honor them.
